Critic’s have been going mad for the documentry film ‘Black Gold, Wake up and Smell the Coffee. The film is due out in June and is being reviewed as a parallel to Morgan Spurlock’s, ‘Super Size Me’.
Black Gold has the same potential to basically shock consumers into thinking again about what they are buying and threatens to exploit the multibillion-pound coffee industry.
The documentry follows Tadesse Meskela, one man on a mission to save his 74,000 struggling coffee farmers from bankruptcy. Tadesse travels the world in an attempt to find buyers willing to pay a fair price.
Definitely one to watch…
