CMT Accreditation

All suppliers are requested to complete our 14-page Supplier Questionnaire, which requires detailed information about the factory’s that produce their garments. The questions cover a large and varied spectrum but are primarily aimed at the ‘workers rights’. The Questionnaire follows the ETI (Ethical Trading Initiative) Base Code.
If the Questionnaires are returned with insufficient answers, T.Shirt and Sons Ltd will ask for more detailed answers and if necessary an independent audit will need to be carried out. If after this audit the relevant factory has not complied with one or more parts of the audit, then a Corrective Action Plan will be given to that factory. This allows a given period of time for the factory to implement the necessary changes needed to become a supplier of T.Shirt and Sons Ltd.
T.Shirt and Sons Ltd offer the ‘Corrective Action Plan’ to encourage manufactures all over the world to become more ethically responsible, rather than dismissing them at the first sign of poor workers rights. We have found this approach to be very affective and the majority of companies that initially fall short of our high standards, are keen to change and welcome our guidance.

A copy of the supplier questionnaire is available on request.

T.Shirt and Sons Ltd will never knowingly supply goods that are not fairly traded.
