What the press have said about T Shirt and Sons…

‘T Shirt and Sons is now a leading player in the niche market world of quality garment decorators, producing as many as 100,000 printwear items per week. Big name clients include Sainsbury’s, Budweiser, Lloyds TSB, PlayStation 2 and the Glastonbury Festival.’ “We are one of the first printers in the UK to introduce water-based and PVC-free inks to produce quality products which are environmentally and ethically sound.”
(Bath Chronicle, June 2003)

Bands sign up for ethical approach
‘T Shirt and Sons is the printer for the Glastonbury festival, Womad, Real World, Oxfam’s Fair Trade and, most pertinently of all, Radiohead’s merchandiser Waste Products. It uses only ethically sourced T shirts and specialises in water-based printing, disclaiming the PVC-based plastisol inks which are used for most merchandise.
“We are very ethically-minded and very environmentally-conscious about what we do and we try to recycle as much as we can. We are very careful about who we buy from as well, so there is no child-labour and no prison labour.”
(Music Week, July 2003)

‘T Shirt and Sons specialises in discharge print, which produces a bold and durable print using water-based inks. Garments printed by this method have richly-coloured striking designs which are soft to the touch. The firm offers PVC-free inks, which are very popular with the increasing number of clients who demand environmentally-friendly products.’
(Sales Promotion , April 2003)

City printing firm puts its shirt on success
‘A specialist West country printing company is enjoying a new wave of success. The past year has seen the entertainment side of T Shirt and Sons business grow to become its largest industry area. Having produced shirts for events such as the Glastonbury festival and for bands such as Radiohead and Supergrass for a number of years, the company has a number of more high profile additions to its ever-expanding client list.’
